A variety of architectural styles

Architectural styles categorize architecture according to the use of forms, techniques, materials, time period, region, and other influences. Architectural style originates from the study of the evolution of architectural history and emerges with it. In the history of architecture, the study of Gothic architecture, for example, includes all aspects of the cultural content used in the design and construction of these structures. Therefore, architectural style is a way to categorize architecture, which by emphasizing the characteristic features of the design, has led to such words as Gothic “style”.
